This art is not just a question of flavours and tastes. This is why we dedicate great passion to everything that has to do with a great espresso. Like the coffee cup: an object of design that we have chosen to reinvent together with the creative minds of tomorrow. Every two years we invite the graphics and arts senior schools in Brescia and Bergamo to participate in “Visioni di Vita Nuova” (Visions for a new life). A design competition that encourages students to open their minds to creativity, challenging them to come up with a new limited edition espresso cup set. Our gift to all lovers of art and coffee.
THE 2015 EDITION
The main graphics and arts senior schools in the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo participated to the contest, for a total of 15 institutes, involving around 300 students.
At the end of the participation deadline, 104 projects have been presented, each made up of 3 graphic designs, giving a total of 312 pieces of work created for the contest.
The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 6th May in Brescia in the superb site of the Salone Vanvitelliano.
THE FIRST COFFEE CUP COLLECTION
The winning masterpiece of the 2015 contest led to the creation of the first series of limited edition coffee cups.
The collection has been composed of three graphically coordinated cups in a unique box with dedicated packaging.
The design is born from the creativity of Elisa Marchiondelli, Chiara Brignoli and Michele La Monica from the Andrea Fantoni Art School in Bergamo, and it is entitled “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”.
A coffee collection for cafés (and more) that depicts, through aromas and flavours, the uniqueness of its homeland.
